Waffle Irons

A waffle iron is a griddle of sorts with a patterned surface. When open you will see a square pattern which forms the miniature pockets on the waffle. The non stick coated metal surface heats up and brazes the waffle mix together creating a golden delicious treat good for the whole family.

WAFFLE IRON COOKIES

4 sq. baking chocolate (or 3 tbsp. cocoa plus 1/2 tbsp. Crisco)
1 stick butter
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour

Melt butter in saucepan and add all the rest of the ingredients. Heat waffle iron like for waffles. Drop cookie dough about 1 inch apart, about 1 teaspoon for each cookie.

Bake 2 minutes. Cool and ice with powdered sugar icing.
