It really comes down to your preference and the time you have available when cooking snacks and meals.

Microwave ovens have become quite inexpensive over the last decade and this has really worked to the favour of the consumer. When shopping for a microwave consider both its capacity and power output before making a purchase. Smaller less powerful units will cost less but will have limited cooking applications.

Microwaves also vary in how they are stored in the kitchen. While most sit on the counter there are many that can be built into kitchen cabinetry. Pick whichever one suits your kitchen and lifestyle needs.
